Preschool

Our Preschool offers nurturing, loving instruction in a friendly, Christian environment.  The program is a hands-on, developmentally appropriate and academic program facilitated by our caring teachers. 

In K3 and K4, children are introduced to letters, shapes, colors, numbers, and God’s Word through the use of theme-based activities.

Developing solid readers is one of our major goals in preschool. Students finish K3 and K4 with an understanding of letter sounds, blending, and chunking, and many children are even reading words and small books.

This framework lays a great foundation for K5 where we offer an aggressive phonics-based approach to reading that also emphasizes thorough comprehension of the text. 

A time of prayer and biblical instruction is included in each day’s schedule as well as time for instruction in music and art.  We also have a “Let’s Get Fit" time to introduce physical education to our preschoolers. For more details on our curriculum, go here for K3 & K4 and here for K5. 

We offer a variety of half-day or full-day programs for children from three to five-year-olds.  The half-day session includes the core preschool program.  The full-day session includes the core preschool program, a hot lunch, and a rest time.  All of our morning and full-day classes offer an early drop-off time as early as 7:00 a.m. at no additional charge.  

Entrance Qualifications. Children must be completely toilet trained and meet the age requirements below.

K3: 3 years old by September 1

K4: 4 years old by September 1

K5: 5 years old by September 1
